I overbooked myself this month
Not accidentally. Not because someone forced me to. Not because I donβt know better. But because it was January last month. And January does weird things to high-functioning women.
Beginning-of-the-year slowness hit. Revenue felt quieter. The natural winter pause started whispering, βYou could do more.β And instead of just sitting in that discomfort like the emotionally regulated adult I try to beβ¦ I responded. I applied to part-time jobs. And I got one. Itβs funny how quickly βIβll just explore thisβ turns into onboarding paperwork.

This post shares the story of a client overwhelmed by late payments and awkward money talks. Learn how setting up simple payment tracking systems and clear boundaries transformed their cash flowβand saved their client relationships. If youβre struggling to balance business and friendship while getting paid, this oneβs for you.
